Get to know the role

We are looking for a Strategy Senior Associate to identify opportunities, create strategic frameworks, and manage execution. Ideal candidates think conceptually, able to solve complex problems, and expertly manage stakeholders. This role is pivotal as millions using our platform and the correct decisions will bring enormous impact. In return, you will get an opportunity to shape GrabFood's future.

The day-to-day activities

  • Formulate short to mid-term strategy for GrabFood TH which consisted of collections of insights, ideas bouncings with senior management from various departments, reiteration of pilots and MVPs, scaling up into solid executions, and development of OKRs trackers.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to discover the unmet needs of all platform stakeholders and experiment with solving the key business challenges that will determine the platform's success. 
  • Convey company visions to the relevant stakeholders on how our strategies are vital to the vision and what the impact on the higher level. 
  • Serve as a special force to help speed up the time-constrained executions to gain the competitive edging.
  • Represent TH in the product empowerment team which will be shaping how GrabFood products look in the near future by conveying TH’s strategy and needs, co-piloting the product launches and experiments, and solving the big hairy problem spaces to make our platform better for SEA.

Qualifications

The must-haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or related field
  • Strong business and analytics background, preferably from a top tech company or in-house strategy with 2-5 years of experience
  • Exceptional insight generation from data, ability to influence strategic decisions
  • Ability to construct and deliver clear presentations to senior executives
  • Creative and comfortable with open-ended assignments
  • Strong collaboration skills across roles and levels
  • Proactive, independent learner, big-picture thinker yet detail-oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in Thai and English

The Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in management consulting, project management, or MBA from a top university
  • Product management experience
  • Strong knowledge of the mobility, food delivery, and e-commerce industry
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other scripting/programming languages.
