Happily.ai is looking for an experienced Business Development Lead to join their behavioral science company. The ideal candidate should have a successful track record of sales and account management (preferably in B2B SaaS), with a proven ability to qualify, close, and manage strategic accounts.
The BDL will work closely with the sales team to develop and qualify leads, provide first-level customer contact, close deals, manage customer accounts, and help build the sales team. The ideal candidate should be driven, organized, and a quick learner.
Role Overview
As the Business Development Lead, you will drive our company's growth and success in local and global markets. You will lead and oversee outbound and inbound sales, business development, and sales operations, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue generation and enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities
Self-Managed Sales Pipeline: Take charge of the entire sales pipeline, including prospecting, qualifying leads, leading discovery sessions, pitching Happily.ai's product effectively, and closing deals.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead a small sales team, setting targets, offering hands-on coaching, and evaluating performance to ensure both individual and team sales goals are met.
Strategic Business Development: Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and strategic alliances, to expand market presence and product reach.
Client Negotiations and Relationship Building: Engage directly in negotiations with key clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure long-term business growth and customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis and Strategic Decision-Making: Monitor market trends and competitor activities, using insights to inform strategic decisions and contribute to product development strategies.
Data-Driven Performance Optimization: Analyze sales data to continually refine sales strategies and tactics, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with market demands.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related fields
Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior-level role focused on solution sales, preferably within B2B Sales.
Strong understanding of the B2B SaaS market landscape, customer behavior, and industry dynamics.
Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Thai.
