Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor + Graphic Designer for a 6-month contract to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and editing engaging video content and designing visually compelling graphics that align with our brand’s vision and marketing goals. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing
- Edit raw video footage into polished final products for various platforms including social media, websites, and presentations.
- Enhance video content with graphics, special effects, music, and sound effects.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project goals and deliver high-quality video content that meets these objectives.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to established workflows and deadlines.
Graphic Design
- Create visually appealing graphics for digital and print media including social media posts, website banners, brochures, and advertisements.
- Design and develop creative concepts, graphics, and layouts in line with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute innovative design solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends and software.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure cohesive and effective visual communication.
- Participate in creative meetings and contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and content strategies.
- Provide creative input and support for various company events, campaigns, and initiatives.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
- Strong skills in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Film Production, Media Arts, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in video editing and graphic design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing both video editing and graphic design work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
