Head of Sustainability Strategic Intelligence

You’ll craft our sustainability strategy, research trends, integrate environmental practices into our operations, and set progress metrics. Your role includes reporting on our environmental impact, ensuring regulatory compliance, and engaging stakeholders to promote sustainability. With a background in environmental science or similar, along with proven strategy experience and strong analytical skills, you’ll help shape our sustainable future.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy with a specific focus on environmental/climate initiatives, including net zero and decarbonization strategies.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends, technologies, and best practices related to environmental sustainability and climate action.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental/climate considerations into business processes, products, and services.
• Establish metrics, targets, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and measure progress towards net zero and decarbonization goals.
• Regularly assess and update the sustainability strategy to reflect evolving environmental and climate-related challenges and opportunities.

Portfolio Tracking and Reporting:

• Design and implement systems to track and report on environmental and climate performance, including greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, and resource usage.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret sustainability data to generate meaningful insights and recommendations for senior management.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports on environmental/climate performance, highlighting progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant environmental/climate reporting frameworks, standards, and regulations.

Advisory and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Provide strategic advisory services to senior management, department heads, and project teams on environmental and climate-related matters, including net zero and decarbonization strategies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives that align with our organization's environmental and climate goals.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulatory bodies, to enhance environmental and climate partnerships and influence industry practices.
• Represent the organization at environmental/climate conferences, forums, and industry events to share best practices and gain insights.
