Description
Collaborates with CPO, Design Lead and the Product Owners to co-create the Product Roadmap.
Collaborates with data squad to bring insights which can be turned into tangible product ideas which can be tested during different marketing campaigns
Collaborates with customer acquisition and success teams to streamline the research pipeline
Actively collaborates as part of an agile team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately based on the research
Advocates for user-centered design solutions
Can work with external agencies and internal team to plan and execute user research (quantitative and qualitative)
Manages inputs from various sources (i.e. customer interviews, surveys etc.) and then synthesis data
Derive meaningful insights and implications based on data, and share with relevant departments through workshops, reports and research repository
Can plan, manage and run concept and usability testing to iteratively validate and improve design solutions
Coaches the product designers on best practices to conducting the research
Requirements
Domain Expertise
Can collate data from multiple sources to derive meaningful insights and implications for product and other departments
Able to plan, conduct, and synthesize user research
Strong understanding of various research methodologies (qual and quant)
Retail knowledge and enthusiasm is a plus
Has understanding of user experience metrics and how to track and report on the success of various improvements
Agile/Digital Experience
Hands-on experience working on digital products and or services
Proven experience working in design teams in an Agile product development setting
Individual Skills
Experience planning and conducting user research at various stages of the design process
Experience in competitor research
Strong communication skills with ability to articulate the value of a design choice to users and non-designer stakeholders
Creative problem solving and analytical thinking
Able to produce insightful research reports in a fast-paced environment
Experience in e-commerce industry
