Data, tech & automation is at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for top talent that is ready to learn analytics, coding and low-code/no-code tools and implement that knowledge to support our in-house team and our clients, working towards our ultimate goal where “no one in marketyze ever has to do manual work again”.
Business Intelligence & Automation Engineer is a multidisciplinary role that combines the skills of someone who does business intelligence, automation and tech all in one - within a growth marketing agency environment. You get full ownership of our data infrastructure, where you try to improve and scale both our backend and our frontend, while also automating all manual processes for other team members, using a combination of code/low-code/no-code tools, keeping a constant eye out on the latest tools, software and methods available on a global basis. You’re essentially someone who applies a growth mindset to the data & automation fields.

What would I do as a Business Intelligence & Automation Engineer?
In Job title it says “training provided”. What would the training look like?
We believe in learning by doing. Therefore, you would start by getting an introduction to our company, the services we provide and how this ties into our current data infrastructure. You would also help doing ad-hoc analyses and slowly begin to manage dashboards, tracking and data-sources for more clients. Once you have a good grasp of all the tools, you will begin being involved with more clients.
How would you describe the right candidate for this position?
Do I need previous work experience?
Previous professional work experience isn’t required. Nevertheless, we will have a strong preference for candidates who have experience in reporting and in working with numbers in general - either using a spreadsheet or coding or both. Personal projects, internships or work experience would demonstrate your motivation and provide some skills that could help you in the beginning.

What would be my career path?
You will have an immediate chance to work with your own interns. Depending on how well you lead a team in this context, and how our Tech team grows, the likely career path for you would be to become a Senior Business Intelligence & Automation Engineer where you will build a bigger team. That would require demonstrating strong analytical skills, strong drive, willingness to continuously improve and the desire to lead other team members.

The application process is simple:
Done! By the end of the same week your third round cultural fit interview is held, you will hear the final result, which is either an offer letter or a rejection email. In most cases the application process will be completed within two weeks of submitting your resume.
