Finance and Accounting Manager

Responsibilities :

• Establish and grow a financial and accounting operating team 

• Lead the finance department in the preparation of monthly management reports, annual statutory financial statements, various tax returns and etc.

• Prepare timely monthly financial statements.

• Internal Controls - Establish and maintain proper financial controls which includes among others, reconciliations with proper audit trail.

• Liase with external consultants on improving company’s internal control and adoption of PAEs for preparation of public listing

• Forecasting and Budgeting – work with management team on establishing and maintain periodic forecasting and budgeting

• Provide financial analysis based on historical data, industry benchmark, and departmental budgeting system

• General Accounting - responsible for performing the day- to-day general ledger accounting, closing and financial reporting and analysis

• Lead Credit and Collection processes – credit control, collection and cash application

• Lead Accounts Payable processes – accounting, making payments

• Others – work with relevant stakeholders (Company Secretary, External and Internal Auditors, Bankers, Lawyers, Tax authorities, etc.) and other priorities as assigned.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting and posess a CPD license.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting and financial field.

• Minimum 2 years in managerial level.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• Computer literacy (Microsoft office and productivity tools).

• Good interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively across different levels and cultures within organization.

• Strong planning and prioritizing skills with ability to deliver results in a tight deadline.

• Ability to work under constraints and limitations.

• Ability to implement company-wide change management for the better financial and accounting process.

• Working knowledge of cost accounting, product profitability analysis, budgeting and forecasting preferred.
